The company co-founders Francis and his brother Joseph cares deeply about the Smiles For Orphans campaign, and their connection to and admiration for Mother Teresa and her ideals go back to their own childhood in Calcutta, India, when they learned of her work for orphans and became inspired by the cause. When they grew older, they got the chance to meet her in 1993, when they were touched by the kind words of the soft-spoken Mother Teresa. Sadly, Mother Teresa passed away in 1997, and the two brothers attended her funeral visitation. And now, a parent of two beautiful kids Jen and Marc, Francis could feel how fortunate the orphans and the abandoned children were to have the love and care of the late Mother Teresa who devoted her life for them.
This holiday season, Francis along with other co-founders, wife Eva and brother Joseph, are launching this campaign in order to further and promote the ideals of Mother Teresa and her compassion for orphaned children. Their passion for this campaign arose from the impact that Mother Teresa had on them as young children, and they hopes that this good cause will be contagious to others, too. Make a difference this holiday season and contribute to the lives of orphaned children in a way that makes them feel wanted, cared for, and loved in their society. A recent study for orphaned and abandoned children found that India is home to more than 20 millions orphans!
Thank you in advance for your support and kindness. May your holidays be filled with lots of happiness, peace, and love.
